Haven’t been on here for a while. I have been on my travels as usual recording a wonderful variety of books. That’s how I like it! Two completely different classics that I recorded recently were GULLIVER’S TRAVELS from the extraordinary imagination of Jonathan Swift (some of it was pure Monty Python!) and the other was the beautiful story of SILAS MARNER by George Eliot. More books from favourites of mine: Kate Ellis and Pauline Rowson and I had fun with another tale from the wonderful “Golden Age of Murder” series – DEATH MAKES A PROPHET (sic) by John Bude, the hilarious goings on within a very dodgy cult. Bonkers! So, I am very busy with a rather crammed diary although I have left Tuesday 7th November free. It’s the day I go to the Palace to get my MBE. Oooh er!
