SPEAKING VOLUMES

Because of lockdowns and restrictions I am not able to have a launch of my book SPEAKING VOLUMES. I’d always imagined a launch party with drinks and nibbles and readings and signings. The virus put paid to that, alas. So, I have had to promote my book in other ways. Radio interviews and newspaper articles and Zoom chats. The book has had some lovely reviews – it’s been called ‘witty’, ‘delightful’, ‘inspiring’ and ‘heartwarming’ but every review has mentioned the word ‘charming’. One reviewer called it ‘refreshingly optimistic’ – I rather like that!
